Subject	Myth or not. Downpipes and turbo seal failure

Message	I remember reading a few posts across the world wide internet and some car fanaticZ such as our Z community claim that a straight flow exhaust piping such as downpipes and test pipes may be causing premature turbo seal failures. I am wondering in the Z community, those that run downpipes and test pipes, have you experience a similar failure that you may feel is related to having the DP/Test pipes combo installed? If not, how many miles/years have you run with the setup? I did a search and couldn't really come up with much, a few members mentioned a similar idea but really I couldn't find anything concrete.
